Pro-Am in the Pines III
Pinehurst Resort, North Carolina
Where Golf 's History Meets Southern Soul
For over 125 years, Pinehurst has celebrated the game of golf. Today, its courses, hotels, restaurants and country club stand ready to host all those who love the sport. Donald Ross, designer of the famed course No. 2, once said, “Golf is meant to be a pleasure, not a penance.” We couldn’t agree more.

Accommodations
The Manor
A year-long renovation completed in 2019 has transformed the historic Manor, originally opened in 1923, into a contemporary hotel wrapped in classic charm. Beyond the communal lobby lie well-appointed guest rooms waiting to immerse guests in comfort. The North & South Bar offers a wide selection of fine whiskeys and cocktails, while just outside, Pinehurst Brewing Co. pours craft beer brewed on site. The Village of Pinehurst is also just a short walk away, making The Manor as convenient as it is memorable.
The Holly Inn
Pinehurst’s very first hotel, The Holly Inn has welcomed guests since 1895. It is situated in the heart of the Village, offering easy access to everything just steps from its iconic striped entrance.
The architecture here is part Queen Anne revival and part Arts & Crafts, but the overall effect is pure Pinehurst. Fine touches adorn every guest room, from the Tiffany lamps illuminating the space to the antique bar that once dwelled in Scotland but now welcomes thirsty patrons in our Tavern. You can also visit the pool for a more intimate, quiet space for sunning and relaxing.
This truly unique property has engendered much affection over its century-plus lifespan, and we’re sure you’ll love it as well.
The Carolina Villas
Located adjacent to the west lawn of the Carolina Hotel, each villa features four separate, keyed guestrooms, making them ideal for traveling foursomes or groups.
The villa bedrooms each boast private baths adorned in marble, two queen beds with feather-top bedding, desk/workstation, mini bar and safe. In-room Keurig machines are included as well and are perfect for those early tee times.
Courses
The Cradle
“The Most Fun 10 Acres In Golf”
On the land where the first holes at Pinehurst were carved lies the 789-yard short course.
Pinehurst No. 2
The centerpiece of Pinehurst Resort, Pinehurst No. 2 remains one of the world’s most celebrated golf courses. It has served as the site of more single golf championships than any course in America and hosted back-to-back U.S. Open and U.S. Women’s Open Championships for the first time in 2014. It was also the home of the U.S. Open in 2024.
As the first U.S. Open Anchor Site, the championship will return to Pinehurst in 2029, 2035, 2041 and 2047.
Pinehurst No. 4
Gil Hanse’s redesign of Pinehurst No. 4 is a bold expression of pure, timeless Carolinas Sandhills golf. Visually stunning from tee to green, exposed sand areas, vast cross bunkers and native wire grass meld with the site’s rolling topography and natural ridge lines to create dramatic vistas and strategic options on every hole.
Less than a year after reopening in 2018, No. 4 joined famed No. 2 as the site of the 2019 U.S. Amateur.
Pinehurst No. 10
No. 10 is Pinehurst’s first new course in nearly three decades, but in truth it’s been centuries, even millennia, in the making.
The landscape underlying Tom Doak’s new design features native wiregrass, sweeping landscape and rolling hills formed by geology.
Midway through the course, it also takes advantage of rugged dunes carved out by mining operations around the turn of the 20th Century.
The result is a spectacular course with 75 feet of elevation change that winds its way through the Sandhills on a path toward delivering a golf experience like no other.
