Teams

7 amateurs + 1 professional

Format

All competitors will play their own ball throughout the event. A Stableford point system will be used. The two highest gross Stableford scores will be added to the two highest net Stableford scores, each hole, each round. The team with the most points across 3 rounds will be declared champion.

Four different players’ scores must be used for the team’s gross and net scores on any given hole.

Amateurs will receive 80% of their handicaps with a maximum handicap of 18 allowed for men and 24 for women.  All handicaps are final one week prior to the event.

Professionals will compete against one another in a Stableford format for a cash payout.

Payouts TBD based on field size.

$3,450 per golfer

The course follows the natural movement of the land, and the playing corridors are wider when compared to traditional desert design.

We-ko-pa Golf Club- Cholla Course

The Cholla Course at We-Ko-Pa Golf Club offers a dramatic test of golf that plays through shady arroyos, over desert ridges, and amid some of the most picturesque Sonoran Desert on the planet. Grayhawk Golf Club- Raptor Course

The Tom Fazio-designed Raptor course offers thrilling challenges that command players’ respect through a high-stakes game of risk and reward. Stretching 7,151 yards from the back tees, the par-72 course unfolds over the gentle hills and across shaded natural arroyos found in this picturesque corner of the Sonoran Desert.

Most of Raptor’s fairways are generous, and the greens are large with sweeping undulations. Misses tend to find deep greenside bunkers and grass collection areas, making the scramble to get up and down a true test of the short game.

Raptor is considered to be one of the finest golf courses in Scottsdale and is listed among the best public golf courses in Arizona by Golfweek and Golf Magazine. Raptor is one of only two Scottsdale golf courses to host a PGA TOUR event – the Frys.com Open 2007-2009.
