Courses

Bandon Dunes

Bandon Dunes unfolds along pristine native dunes where expansive ocean views are revealed on nearly every hole. The course is completely natural and routed through an environment of indigenous vegetation. Beyond breathtaking scenery lies the game of golf in its truest form.

This is a thinker’s course. Winds are ever-present, and the varying elements create a new experience each time you play.

Pacific Dunes

Pacific Dunes doesn’t feel like it was built as much as it was discovered. Rippling fairways remain just as they were found and natural bunkers line the landscape as they have for centuries. The course emerges from shore pines to spectacular 60-foot sand dunes. When the wind blows, precise approach shots are a necessity.

Pacific Dunes is short enough to give you hope, but rugged enough to test every facet of your game.

Old Macdonald

What would Macdonald have created had the Oregon Coast been his canvas? Course architects Tom Doak and Jim Urbina have crafted a course that seeks the answer upon vast greens, among a myriad of angles of play, and from the depths of fierce bunkers. By celebrating these classic concepts of design, the traditions of this game we love are honored.

Sheep Ranch

Sheep Ranch commands a mile of coastline, more than any other course at Bandon Dunes, and it makes the most of its seaside stretches, with nine greens set along the water. The inland holes aren’t deprived of drama, either-a number of them rising to commanding ocean views. You could argue that twenty years and six course openings later, Bandon has saved its most magical site for last.

Bandon Trails

Bandon Trails begins atop a massive sand dune, quickly opens into a sprawling meadow, works higher into the coastal forest, and finally returns to finish in the dunes. The course is enjoyable to walk and is a constant reminder of how the game was originally created among inland rolling dunes with dramatic ocean vistas.

Bandon Preserve

A unique experience in every way, Bandon Preserve is a 13-hole par-3 course that delivers a level of enjoyment matched only by the spectacular views. Opened in 2012 and designed by Bill Coore and Ben Crenshaw, Bandon Preserve begins high atop a sand dune and rolls down toward the beach. The Pacific Ocean provides the backdrop to every hole.

Shorty’s

There's no question in Mike Keiser's mind that the latest gem at Bandon Dunes is truly special. Shorty's, the new 19-hole short course—designed by the team of Rod Whitman, Dave Axland, and Keith Cutten—is located between the opening holes of Bandon Trails and the ocean to the west. Paired with a unique routing unlike any other on property, the incredible site winds you through rolling natural dunes and scattered shore pines as far as the eye can see.

Honoring Mike's close friendship with Shorty Dow, the first caretaker and self appointed "governor, mayor, and sheriff" of Bandon Dunes, Shorty's, along with it's neighboring links, Bandon Preserve, will again be a 'course with a mission,' directly funding the Bandon Dunes Charitable Foundation's grant-making efforts on the Southern Oregon Coast.

Pacific Grill

Pacific Grill features a constantly-changing dinner menu that showcases the latest catch from our favorite waterways with a dash of Mediterranean flair for good measure. This restaurant also provides breakfast and lunch daily and features panoramic views of Pacific Dunes, Bandon Dunes, and The Punchbowl, where you can showcase your skill with the flat stick while enjoying your favorite drink from the nearby Tap-In bar.

Restaurants

McKee’s Pub

This Scottish-style setting serves traditional hearty pub fare, Pacific Northwest microbrews, and classic single malt scotches accompanied by a look into the resort’s history on the walls.

Ghost Tree Grill

Ghost Tree Grill is nestled into a hillside and visible down the fairway from Old Macdonald’s 18th hole, a welcome sight for golfers as they complete the course. The thoughtful placement is an invitation to continue the day’s fun by enjoying upscale food and beverages in an energetic environment.

The restaurant features indoor and outdoor spaces for dining, relaxing, and socializing, and offers views of the course and the restaurant’s iconic namesake, Ghost Tree.

Gallery Restaurant and Puffin Bar

The recently renovated Gallery Restaurant and Puffin Bar in the Main Lodge features an Italian menu concept that pairs timeless flavors and fare with an elevated environment that is both familiar and fresh.
